Abstract: In order to find out the distribution of groundwater resources in Pingquan area of Chengde City and provide a scientific basis for the future planning of groundwater resources exploration in this area, the groundwater resources in Pingquan area of Chengde City were detected by using the comprehensive geophysical exploration method combining controllable source audio magnetotelluric method and four-pole electric depth-measurement method. Through the designing in early stage, field data collection in mid-term, data processing and result analysis in last stage, the location and influence range of low-resistance abnormal bodies in the detection area were accurately delineated, which provided the target area for the later development of groundwater resources, effectively reduced the development cost, and received better economic and technical results.
