Causes analysis and improved measures of the bed leakage of molecular sieve adsorber in MTO

Abstract:In order to solve the problems of molecular sieve leakage and pipe blockage in molecular sieve adsorber in start-up stage of new plant. The leakage during the operation of molecular sieve is described in detail,and through the analysis of molecular sieve loading, internal component inspection, operation parameters and so on,the problems in the process of molecular sieve loading, internal fixation of adsorber, pressure relief and liquid drainage were discussed. After the MTO plant shutdown, by the means of technical transformation and adjustment of operating pressure,the similar phenomenon was not occurred in the MTO plant. The results show that the qualified installation of molecular sieve bed bottom support and Wilson grid plate are quite important, the pressure relief and liquid drainage of molecular sieve adsorber is controlled at 0.1 MPa, the regeneration temperature is lower than 225 ℃, which is beneficial to the long and stable operation.
