Surface and strata movement were studied by the main use of field observation and theoretical simulation and similar material model. One of the main method was still a field observation method, which set up specialized surface movement observation station in mining working face. Through the observation to get surface movement data，the analysis of these data, the deformation law of surface movement was found out to solve the practical problems with these rules.
