No. 1 Mine of Pingdingshan Mining Group three level needed auxiliary transportation equipment arrangement to meet the production needs, due to large depth and big mining pressure, winch chamber layout design and the construction technology needed to be studied. Based on bilateral drive hydraulic winch sizes and lithology analysis, winch chamber was designed. Based on measuring ground stress, the support form and parameters of chamber were settled. The construction adopted blasting mining step method, which ensured engineering construction feasibility and construction safety and reduced the construction difficulty.
