Abstract: According to the structural characteristics of eroded rock in 22109 working face of Shanxi Huaning Coking Coal Co.,, based on the collection of relevant data, MIDAS GTS NX finite element numerical simulation software was used to analyze the stress and displacement variation of eroded rock on the roof under the conditions of different mining heights and the same working face length. The research shows that with the increase of mining thickness and working face advancing distance, the peak value of abutment pressure of working face rock gradually increases. The farther the distance to the middle line of working face, the lower the peak value of abutment pressure; the greater the mining thickness, the greater the roof subsidence value.
