In order to solve the problem of insufficient coal resource, Xingdong Mine reclaimed the coal under pressure in the 1100 southern mining area. Combining the different ways of current gangue utilization, comparing the two different gangue filling methods of roadway mining and comprehensive mining, it was determined to adopt comprehensive mechanized gangue filling. The location of ground filling station was set, with vertical feeding system to transport gangue to underground. The diameter of the feed hole was determined according to the maximum particle diameter of solid material and engineering analogy. The project can liberate a large amount of stagnant coal resources, effectively extend the service life of Xingdong Mine, with significant economic and social benefits.
