To solve the problem of ow formation strength, poor cohesion between layers, roadway deformation and high mine pressure in the mining of No. 1 Mine, ground stress test was conducted, which was located in three places, stress relief data for three holes were measured using the stress relief method by constructing guide holes, measuring holes, installing stress sensors and testing. The data were processed and analyzed by special software, which resulted in a regular distribution of stresses in the mine ground. The results showed that the direction of maximum horizontal stress was NE2.3o ~ 10.1o; maximum horizontal principal stress was 1.513 ~ 1.621 times of vertical stress; maximum horizontal principal stress was 1.255 ~ 1.498 times of minimum horizontal principal stress.
