Aiming at the problem of large deformation and difficult support of the surrounding rock in the belt roadway of the north second belt of Gaoyang Mine, the four main factors affecting the stability of the surrounding rock of the roadway were analyzed in combination with the site conditions. Based on the combined arch theory, a combined supporting scheme of bolts + metal mesh + anchor cable + sprayed concrete was proposed. The practice proved that the supporting effect was good and the stability of the roadway was effectively maintained.
