The granularity of azithromycin raw materials directly affects the production efficiency and product quality of azithromycin preparations including capsules and tablets etc.. The effects of crystallization temperature, drying temperature and crystallization time on the granularity of azithromycin drug were investigated. The experimental results show that The optimum process conditions are crystallization temperature is 40 ℃, crystallization time is 120 min, drying temperature is 60 ℃; by optimizing the crystallization process, such as changing the crystallization temperature, drying temperature, and prolonging the crystallization time, the granularity of azithromycin raw materials can be improved, and the production efficiency and product quality of azithromycin preparations can be improved.
