In the production of lithium carbonate, the lithium content in the mother liquor of lithium carbonate is higher, accounting for about 20% of the total production, how to improve the recovery rate of lithium in mother liquor of lithium carbonate and the quality of recovered lithium salt products is of great significance to the improvement of productivity effect of enterprises. Several recovery processes for the production of lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide monohydrate and lithium chloride from the lithium mother liquor were reviewed, and the advantages and disadvantages of each process were summarized. It is pointed out that the price of basic lithium salt is still at a high level at present, so according to the production situation of the enterprise, the appropriate process was adopted to recover lithium in the mother liquor of lithium carbonate efficiently, so as to reduce the production cost and improve the economic benefit of the enterprise.
