The large deformation and failure of the belt roadway in Xiaoxi Mine was taken as the research object, the deformation and failure characteristics were analyzed, and the main causes of large deformation and failure of the belt lane were: high geostress, surrounding rock lithology and original support mode not coupled. In addition, combined with the characteristics of deep roadway support and the actual geological conditions of the belt roadway, the support scheme of “constant large deformation anchor rod + ordinary anchor net cable + bottom plate anti-bottom arch” was designed. The application results showed that the maximum deformation of the roadway roof was 70 mm, the maximum bulging amount of the bottom plate 80 mm, and the maximum displacement of the two gangs 130 mm. The deformation of the surrounding rock of the roadway can met the requirements of the roadway. The scheme could effectively control the surrounding rock deformation of the roadway.
