In order to solve the problems of great line and voltage loss and low power supply efficiency, Laoshidan Mine was taken as example, the power distribution system of the mining face was analyzed, combined with dynamic reactive power generator working principle, reactive compensation plan of adding dynamic reactive power generator in mining distribution point proposed, which improved power factor of the distribution network, power supply quality and equipment terminal voltage, reduced the reactive power on the load side, and saved electricity.
