Based on the characteristics of the mine low voltage power supply system and its influence factors, Chensilou Mine was taken as example, the pertinence of in situ reactive power compensation scheme was put forward, and the practical application in the actual production was obtained, the purpose of safe and reliable power supply was achieved, the importance of reactive power compensation technology in modern coal mine production was pointed out.
