The mineral oil wastewater were pretreated by demulsification-Fenton oxidation. By investigating the demulsification effect of various demulsifiers on mineral oil wastewater, the demulsification method of calcium chloride-PAC combination was determined, and the factors affecting the demulsification effect were discussed. The treatment effect on the Fenton oxidation was investigated by changing the pH value, the dosage of Fenton reagent, the dosage ratio and the dosage method. The results show that COD is reduced from 36 270 to 4 094 mg / L in the process of mineral oil wastewater physico-chemical pretreatment, COD removal rate is 88.71%, and other indexes, such as ammonia nitrogen and sulfide, are in accordance with biochemical requirements, and the teated waste water can enters into the biochemical system directly.
