Based on washing capacity limited by increasing refuse content of coal, the production cost was increased. Raw coal preparation link, main washing link, storage and transportation system of coal preparation technology were upgraded and reconstructed in Xishan Coal and Electricity Group. The process optimization of the sorting system was carried out to improve washing efficiency and gradually eliminated high energy consumption backward process and equipment. The results showed that with this new technique, indexes of main technological links in coal preparation plant were improved, product quality and automation of coal preparation plant were enhanced as well.
