Based on air leakage of borehole and low gas concentration in process of gas extraction, novel capsule belt type sealing device was designed according to gas geological comdition and geology of Lanzhou mining area, which applied to commercial test. The result showed that this technique was suitable for long time gas extraction, gas extraction period was decreased and working face extraction was sped up.
