In the process of coal mine production, ventilation was the foundation of all production activities, which not only guaranteed survival demand of underground workers, but effectively avoided explosion caused by excessive gas, equipment and environmental overheating. Based on introduction of coal mine ventilation development at home and abroad, a fan design scheme with taking fuzzy mathematics controlling and PLC programmable controller as cores and controlled by frequency converter was presented according to gas gathering problem caused by mine ventilation "blowing". With this scheme, personnel demand was ensured, underground environment was improved, intelligent gas emission was realized and the "blowing" problem was solved.
