Based on low automation of existing drainage system in coal mine and research on present situation of  available domestic drainage system, the water level monitoring system in underground coal mine on the basis of single chip was put forward, which could realize on line real-time monitoring of underground water level. This system was equipped with warning fuction of transfinite water level and abnormal working condition of electrical machine. It had high promotion value for low cost, high reliability and simple structure.
