The failure of fog system of mining machine causes poor working environment and bad effect of staff health. By analyzing the problem of frog system of EBZ-160 mining machine, the improvement measures were put forward, the waterway was moved to the outside of cantilever, fixed shaft sleeve and rotating shaft sleeve were set, which avoided static pressure of water into the cantilever segments. The practice showed that the technology transformation ensured the operation effect of the machine, avoided water inside of it, improved the cool effect of cutting pick and the working environment, the temperature of shaft sleeve remained around 40℃, cantilever without water and nozzle without plugging, the machine went on well.
