In order to provide the theory basis for the development and research of smallanhus sonchifolius in Kuming Songming and provide a reference for the consumers of a healthy diet, the trance elements contents of smallanhus sonchifolius, apples and pears in Kuming Songming were analyzed and evaluated. Dry ashing and wet digestion method were used to treat the samples, flame atomic absorption spectroscopy method was used to determine Ca、Mg、Cu、Cd and Pb in smallanhus sonchifolius, apples and pears. The result show that the relative standard deviations of wet digestion range from 1.09 % to 3.29 %, the recovery rates are from 97.1 % to 104.1 %; the accuracy and precision of wet digestion is higher than ashing method and the experimental time of wet digestion is shorter; the smallanhus sonchifolius content rich essential elements that human body needs as Ca, Mg and Cu, less harmful elements as Cd and Pb; and also Ca, Mg and Cu contents in smallanhus sonchifolius are higher than apples and pears, but Cd and Pb contents have no much difference.
