Geologic structures of coal mines exerts great influence to underground mining, with the development of technology, various geological detection is fast-changing. As a new type of detection technology, 3d seismic survey technology is widely used in petroleum and coal mining. Gaozhuang Mine was taken as example, principle and characteristic of 3d seismic survey technology was introduced, and the application of the technology in tectonic detection was analyzed, which provided reference and experience for similar geological detection.
