The single slag conveyor matched with gasification unit of Hebi Coal Chemical Industry 6×105 t methanol project existed some problems as chain off, serious wear on both sides of scraper itself, scraper slope, and sleeve roller chain jumping gears and so on. The existing problems in slag conveyor were analyzed thoroughly, the reasons of the problems were found and the solving measures were put forward. It is pointed out that through changing the worn scraper, tensioning the chain, adjusting the size of the slag particles, replacing new chain, filling grease regularly in drum, the appearing problems in slag conveyor can be resolved，and the stable operation can be ensured.
