The Z-source inverter was taken as the study object, according to its circuit topology structure, the features and working principle were summarized. Through the analysis of pulse generation principle of the SVPWM control method, the appropriate simulation for the Z-source inverter was given, which demonstrated the superiority of the current type Z-source inverter and verified the feasibility of the circuit.
