This paper studied the application of geophysical prospecting technology in goaf accumulated water area of No.15203 Face in Shigang Coal Industry. In view of the possible water accumulation problem in the working face, the mine transient electromagnetic method was used to explore and detect the low resistance body abnormity and its distribution range in the goaf. Through data analysis, the water abundance and water accumulated abnormal areas within the detection range were identified, which provided an important reference for subsequent water exploration and drainage work. The research results showed that the transient electromagnetic method had high application value in the detection of accumulated water in coal mine goaf.
