Abstract: Taking Danhou Mine as the engineering background, this paper introduced the distribution characteristics of the aquifer and aquifuge in Danhou Mine field, and analyzed mine water filling factors such as the water source and water filling channel in Danhou Mine. Difficulty degree of water prevention and control in coal seam mining was analyzed based on each water source.When No.1 coal seam was mined in Danhou Mine, the floor aquifuge thickness was thin,the pressure was relatively high, and the difficulty degree of water prevention and control was relatively high. When No.5 coal seam was mined, the water locally entered the mining and excavation working face in form of roof water leakage. The water prevention and control was easy to carry out.
