Abstract: Aiming at the technical difficulties such as the frequent occurrence of gas overrun in the upper corner of 1211 working face of Sima Mine during the recovery period, which led to the slow recovery speed of the working face, the difficulty of gas control in the upper corner and the poor effect of control, the ventilation department and the current situation of gas control in the upper corner of the working face during the early recovery process and the reasons of gas overrun were analyzed, and " Installing L-type wind plugging device + buried pipe in mining area + arranging high fissure drill hole" and other comprehensive management technology were put forward, through comparison and analysis, it was found that after adopting comprehensive gas management technology in the upper corner of the working face, the gas concentration in the upper corner was controlled below 0.4%, which achieved remarkable application results.
