In order to grasp the water-rich characteristics of the water-bearing layer at the bottom plate of the 80111 working face of Xinjing Mine, the water-richness detection of the water-bearing layer was carried out by the audio electric penetration method and the mine direct current method according to the conditions of the working face and the water-bearing layer. The detection results showed that there were three low resistance anomalous areas in the bottom plate aquifer, delineated the water-rich distribution of the bottom plate aquifer at the working face, with the specific location and development of the three anomalous areas, which guided the safe mining of the working face.
