Aiming at the difficulties of the uncertain and scattered exact location of the residual water outlet point of the Daqing limestone at 56603 working face and the low efficiency and large volume of work for surface vertical well plugging in Niu'erzhuang Mine, the ground directional horizontal well technology was proposed to investigate and successfully implemented, with a plugging rate of 100%. Practice showed that the application of ground directional horizontal shaft technology was adopted to investigate and seal the water outlet point of thin-layered tuff , which improved the efficiency of drilling to investigate water-conducting fissures, faults and other water-conducting channels in thin-layered tuff, solving the problems of low efficiency and large volume of work for water-conducting channel by vertical well plugging in the past; through grouting and plugging the exposed thin limestone water diversion channel, it can achieve the goal of improving the exploration efficiency of the thin-layer limestone water diversion channel. The effective plugging of thin limestone residual water point can block the residual water outlet of thin limestone.
