Abstract: By structural feature exploration and analysis of 5812 working face in No.6 coal seam of Meiyukou mine,it was obtained that,the water abundance was strong,the sudden water coefficient was higher than critical value,the fracture had developed,and the sudden water occurrence had high possibility in working face floor. Considering that the mining mode was mining under pressure,grouting reinforcement technology was proposed to reinforce floor. The result of prevention and control showed that the sudden water coefficient reduced from 0.068 MPa/m to 0.03 MPa/m, the fracture was fully plugged, and the sudden water resistance in floor was effectively improved. This method has a certain economic benefit.
