Abstract: Based on the basic physicochemical properties of glycine and the shortcomings of titration method to detect glycine content, in order to avoid the disadvantages of titration method, simplify the detection steps and improve the detection efficiency, the glycine content was determined by ion chromatography. The single point correction method was adopted, and the experimental results were obtained by comparing the data of the same sample detected by ion chromatography and titration method. Shodex IC ys-50 cation chromatographic column was selected, the eluent concentration was 3.5 mol / L of methylsulfonic acid ultrapure water solution, the flow rate was 0.8 ml/min, and the detector was a non-inhibitory conductivity detector. The experimental results show that ion chromatography has high accuracy, good repeatability, simple and convenient operation.
