The development height of two mining zones of No. 9 coal seam in 11915 working face of east shaft of Gequan Mine was observed through water pressure test in underground drilling. The height of caving zone and water conduction fracture zone after coal seam mining was analyzed, and the distribution characteristics of two mining zones of overlying rock were obtained, which provided theoretical basis for coal mining under loose aquifer of the mine.
