Due to the characteristics of stable performance, simple process and being suitable for coal mine special environment etc., polyurethane materials are used for reinforcing crushing coal and rock, water plugging, underground spraying to prevent air leakage and so on. The effects of raw materials, flame retardants and trimerization catalysts on mechanical properties of reinforced polyurethane materials used for coal mine were discussed by experiments. The results show that through collocation of polyether polyols with different hydroxyl value, polyurethane materials used for coal mine reinforcement with excellent mechanical properties can be obtained; the mechanical properties of the reinforced polyurethane materials for coal mine can be further improved by the addition of the catalyst.
