In order to ensure the safety and reliability of natural gas station processing system design, strengthen the safety of pipeline itself, guarantee safety production of enterprise, combine with domestic existing standard of related design requirements and engineering practice,  the factors that affecting system design of natural gas station were systematically analyzed from gas industry itself , domestic standard supporting situation and other aspects. Safety factors that should be considered in the process of system design of gas supply station were clarified. It is pointed out that in general layout,  the cover area should be minimized in the requirements of national standard; in process system design, configuration, actual operation and relationships between social and demands should be considered; safety instruments system parameter should be set correctly; malfunction of station process system should be reduced.
