2612 fully mechanized working face of Dongpang Mine used 6.5 m fully mechanized mining support and corollary equipment, because of the syncline structure, in the late period of working face recovery, mining gradually transformed from underhand stoping into overhead mining, overhead angle with 15°, combined with the actual situation of 2612 working face, the coal wall stability and its influencing factors were analyzed, technical measures of controlling rib spalling and top caving were put forward, which ensured the safe production of the working face.
