Non-oriented silicon steel is widely used in iron core of the rotating machines and static materials,the coatings on it should have not only a strong insulation property, but also some essential properties, such as punching, bonding, lamination weldability , heat resistance and oil resistance and so on. The current non-oriented silicon steel coatings including inorganic coatings organic coatings and semi-inorganic coatings,there are some defects in varying degrees, so it is necessary to study the modified waterborne non-oriented silicon steel coating to meet the requirements of non-oriented silicon steel.The coating not only overcame the shortcomings of these three kinds of coatings, but also its production process was not very complicated, the production cost was not high, the problem of environmental pollution was also solved,and reached the national requirements for non-oriented silicon steel sheet coatings.
