According to the problem of roof and surrounding rock control difficulty, the advanced abutment pressure distribution rule in fully-mechanized face was studied. Based on the analysis of generation mechanism of advanced abutment pressure, the new nonmetal ultrasonic crack detection system to observe the advanced abutment pressure distribution rule of 28105 fully-mechanized face of Xiqu coal mine was adopted. The results showed that the main factors influenced advanced abutment pressure distribution rule in fully-mechanized face was overburden structure and its motion feature, the influence scope of advanced abutment pressure to fully-mechanized face was lager and caused roadway loose circle radius increased, raised the difficulty to prevent rook burst.
