Fissure zone around the roadway was taken as study object, numerical simulation, field test were adopted, fissure zone shape was scientifically settled as ellipse, and was tested, roadway surrounding fissure zone was in trap type distribution, there was a irregular fissures circle around roadway, fissure zone inside the roadway was not parallel with coal wall, with curved surface, the result provided scientific basis for gas extraction hole sealing depth.
