At present, science and technology journals are in the circumstances of deepening reform of the cultural system and promoting the great development and great prosperity of socialist culture ，and full of challenges and opportunities. The present situations of comprehensive science and technology journals were summarized，their development ideas were proposed. It was pointed out that according to their own situations，comprehensive science and technology journals should seize the opportunity，constantly enhance the qualities，improve the market consciousness，carry out the innovation construction，advance the reform of system，realize a double harvest  of social benefit and economic benefit，promote the  comprehensive, balanced and sustainable development.
