In order to improve the initiative and effectiveness of mine flood control and achieve safe and efficient mining of coal resources, coal mine flood early warning and management system based on GIS technology was established. With geographic information system software SuperMap Objects 5.0 as development tool, using the c programming language, combined with the database SQL Server 2005 to carry on the design research, GIS technology to coal mine flood early warning management was applied.
