Due to higher power requirements in Urumqi petrochemical refinery and petrochemical plant, and with the process plant being expanded, especially in some key units, the production was stopped, the equipments were damaged, explosion and fire were aroused, personal injuries were caused because of short time power outages.The company adopted a new supply line quick switch control devices so that the standby system completed the switch within 500 ms when momentary power failure occurred, and the continuity of electricity supply was guaranteed, the time of the power failure was greatly shorten , the production devices supply needs were met,as the same time ,the impact on power was greatly reduced, the economic losses and the personal injury accidents were reduced.
