Aiming at the problems of hard rock encountered in the working face of Wuyang Mine, No.7609 comprehensive mining face was taken as the background, silent crusher was used to fracture hard rock, and the principle of fracturing hard rock was given based on the hydration reaction and expansion mechanism of silent crusher. The FLAC3D simulation was designed to analyze the expansion and fracturing effects of different hole diameters, hole spacings, hole depths, and different arrangements and spacing of holes on the model using three indicators: the width of the plastic zone between the holes ΔL, the volume of the overall plastic zone of the model ΔV, and the peak Z-Z stress perpendicular to the direction of the line of the holes ΔF. The simulation results showed that: with the increase of hole diameter, the expansion stress around the hole increased significantly, and the width and volume of the plastic zone were larger when the hole spacing was smaller, while the hole depth affected the volume range of the plastic zone, and the hole depth was to be determined according to the actual situation on the site; the range of the plastic zone around the loading holes was large, and the range of the plastic zone around the free holes was small, the free holes had a certain degree of guidance, and the plastic zone increased with the increase of row spacing and the increase of row spacing in the same arrangement, and the plastic zone increased with the increase of row spacing and the increase of row spacing. Under the same arrangement, the volume of plastic zone gradually decreased with the increase of row spacing. The silent fracturing technology scheme was formed and implemented in No.7609 Face of Wuyang Mine, which solved the problem of fracturing hard rock over tectonic faults in the comprehensive mining face of Wuyang Mine, improved the fracturing efficiency of hard rock, reduced the labor intensity, and achieved the purpose of safe, economical and fast fracturing of hard rock.
