In this paper, No.5304 Face of Liangbaosi Coal Mine was taken as the research background, and the horst structure area composed of F6 and DF319 faults was taken as the research object. With the help of similar simulation experiment, FLAC3D numerical simulation and field measurement, the mining influence analysis of fully mechanized caving face passing through the horst structure area was studied, and the roof pre-splitting blasting roof cutting and large diameter drilling collaborative pressure relief technology were adopted. The mine pressure monitoring scheme and the solution pressure relief scheme of fully mechanized caving face under the condition of horst structure were put forward. The field mine compaction test data showed that the mine pressure of the working face was effectively controlled, which could meet the needs of the safe production of the working face.
