Abstract: The open-off cut of No. 5106 Face in Yushupo Coal Industry is a large section open-off cut, and the roof lithology of the open-off cut is mainly sandy mudstone, so it is difficult to control the surrounding rock. In order to solve the problem of surrounding rock control of super-large section open-off cut, taking the open-off cut of No. 5106 Face of Yushupo Coal Industry as the engineering background, the bolt-mesh-cable support technology of super-large section open-off cut is studied. The active support of high pre-tightening force full anchor cable is used to control the roof, and the active support of high pre-stressed anchor bolt is used to fix the side. At the same time, the supporting metal mesh is used to protect the surface. After the application of the technology, the deformation of the open-off cut of the working face is monitored. The monitoring results show that the surrounding rock of the open-off cut is stable and the deformation is controllable after 3 months of excavation, and the stable control of the open-off cut in No. 5106 Face of Yushupo Coal Industry is realized.
