Abstract: Based on three dimensional seismic data, the structure, thickness, erosion and missing range of main coal seams were analyzed by means of time profile, wave impedance inversion and attribute analysis. The results showed that the main coal seams in the study area were in the monoclinic form of NNE and NWW, and there were small folds in the northwest. Two normal faults with drop less than 5 m were found; the coal thickness showed a trend of thickness - thin - thickness from east to west, and the change range was small. No erosion phenomenon of ancient riverbed was found in the area. There was a lack of No.3-1 coal in the northeast and southeast, the range of which was small. The structure of coal measures strata in the study area was simple, the space occurrence of coal seams was stable, and the mining geological characteristics were excellent, which was beneficial to the production and development of the mine.
