Abstract： For detecting water abundance condition of underground water resources in Nanwushijiazi town Pingquan county Chengde city， and providing certain reference and technical support for drilling operation of water source well in the region， quadrupole electrical sounding technology was adopted to do detection in three reserved drilling points of the water source region. The data quality acquired met the requirements. By processing and analyzing the detection data, the corresponding conclusion was obtained. And it was compared with result of controlled source audio magnetotelluric detection which had done in the region, which acquired a good effect. This detection purpose and mission was accomplished commendably.
