In view of the characteristics of extra-thick and spontaneous combustion-prone coal seam in Zhunger mine area of Inner Mongolia, the withdrawal method and characteristics of the end-mining closing equipment of the comprehensive release working face of extra-thick coal seam were explained, and the withdrawal method of pre-digging double passages + palletized brackets to support the roof was proposed, and the support parameters of the main withdrawal passages of this method were simulated and verified by numerical simulation and applied in practice. The combination of through-hole adjustment was proposed to ensure the quality of the through-hole for the end mining and the main retraction, which provided a technical guarantee for the safe and rapid retraction of the large equipment of the comprehensive working face.
