The EBZ150 roadheader in Shanxi Shide Sunjiagou Mine served the mine for many years. The strength of the two parts of the pick and the picking seat was insufficient. The track shoes of the roadheader's walking system were plastically deformed and even the track shoes were broken. In response to these situations, the cutting system and the walking system of the EBZ150 roadheader were structurally modified to reduce the torsional moment in the rotation of the cutting head, and the track were reinforced to improve the strength and improve the performance of the roadheader. Practice showed that the improved structure effectively reduced the failure rate of the cutting head, solved the failure of the track plate and improved the efficiency and reliability of the mining machine.
