A large number of coal seam blocks and corner coals in the underground of Xingdong Mine, it was necessary to mine the coal under buildings and corner coal, but without limestone filling work surface, in order to realize the backfilling of the underground coal preparation, the roadway vermiculite filling equipment was required. The first generation of meteorite backfilling machine of Xingdong Mine was unable to meet the requirements of filling and filling of roadway. In response to this problem, the second generation of meteorite backfilling machine was developed. Practice showed that the newly developed vermiculite backfilling machine realized the mechanization of vermiculite filling, improved the filling efficiency, and reduced the number of personnel and labor intensity.
