Yongcheng Mine was taken as example, Cenozoic strata logging response characteristics were studied, combined with sedimentary characteristics, stratum was compared, the thickness and changing law of the overlying stratum of Cenozoic were mastered, the division and comparison thought of Cenozoic stratum were put forward. The result showed that the average thickness of Cenozoic was 208～438 m, latitudinal direction of Cenozoic was shallow in east and deep in west, east depth 193～224 m, west depth 330～439 m. North-south direction was shallow in south and deep in north, the depth was 335～525 m. The changing law of thickness of Cenozoic was thickening from southeast to northwest, along the ancient terrain northwest tilt, with ups and downs in local area.
