Abstract Aiming at the problems of more residual coal, serious air leakage, high gas content in goaf and high risk of mine in No. 22402 Face of Hanjiawa Coal Mine, the comprehensive fire prevention and extinguishing technology was studied. JSG8 beam tube sampling system was used to monitor the concentration of gas components in working face and goaf in real time. The comprehensive fire extinguishing system of goaf grouting fire prevention and nitrogen injection fire prevention was used to carry out fire prevention and extinguishing operation. Through practical engineering verification, when the gas concentration increased, the beam tube sampling system alarmed in time. After the fire prevention and extinguishing system was started, the gas concentration returned to the safe range, indicating that the comprehensive fire prevention and extinguishing system was effective.
